The Story by Mobstr

This put a smile on my face. Continuing on from Mobstr’s "Playing With The Buff Man" series, The Story tells the tale of the on going dance between the artist and the so called “Buff Man” as they both fight for control over the wall.

iconic video of my childhood

I still regularly quote this.

I can’t reblog this without providing a link in case anyone doesn’t know what this is.  Because everyone should know what this is, I feel.

HOKAY

THIS WAS A VIRAL VIDEO BEFORE WE HAD YOUTUBE. THIS WAS A FLASH .MOV THAT YOU HAD TO DOWNLOAD BACK WHEN 56K INTERNET SPEED WAS TYPICAL AND ONLY A FEW PLACES HAD BROADBAND.  YOU’D HAVE TO WAIT ABOUT HALF AN HOUR FOR THIS TO FULLY DOWNLOAD AND THEN YOU COULD WATCH IT ON A QUICKTIME PLAYER OR A FLASH VIEWER.

I always quote the ‘But I am le tired’ bit.

Part of my childhood indeed.

When historians come to catalog the vaunted Age of the Internet, this thing had better be on the midterms. I wonder what the future will think of us.
